Ministry

The inversion of the 1 Corinthians 12: 25 – 26 may be read as follows:

And so there is much division in the body, and all its different parts do not have the same concern for one another. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts do not suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts express jealousy/ bitterness/ division.”               (The Broken Reality Translation™)

The practical outworking of our life of ministry is to expend our energy to re-affirm the original scripture. We believe we have been called to this prophetic voice to God’s people to reclaim, as Richard Rohr puts it, that “the best criticism of the bad, is the practice of the better”.

There are three practical focus areas for our ministry. :

The Body of Christ

  • To serve the Body of Christ and promote healthy, missional function that produces disciples that make disciples.

Social justice

  • To serve the vulnerable and oppressed, providing hope and guidance

Personal empowerment

  • To uplift people through skills development.
