Out of darkness and death

Life springs and hope is renewed.

Before that though

There is the damp, clinging, claustrophobic embrace

Of dirt, water and dark.

Light is unwelcome,

And the seed dies.

The water and blood must pour

Before the death can be confirmed.

The tomb must first be sealed

Before the stone may be rolled away.

In the dank, cool, musty cave

The Heavenly voice speaks,

“Come out!”
